Milk River Canoe

Shannon and I got away for a June canoe down Milk River (southern border of Alberta).  Usually Milk River is a slow moving rock avoiding river but with all the rain we've had they said it's the most water the river has seen in 12 years.

We did three days of canoeing and stayed an additional night to explore Writing on Stone National Park. Friday was a pretty cold and rainy day but that just made us appreciate the fabulous Saturday and Sunday weather. We had a great group of canoers and we had an awesome time.
