It's been a pretty busy summer so far. We have some new squatters living in our house. Shannon's sister, Jane, brother-in-law, Mike and their two kids Ben and Julie have been living with us since May. It's not as bad as it could be... they seem to be pretty well behaved... They are planning to stay with us until their house is built which should be around December. Since the house is always full of people, I try to spend as little time as possible at my house. I've been keeping busy playing beach volleyball 5 times a week and slo-pitch once a week. What this means is I've had very little time to work on the house. In other news we had an unplanned uprooting of a tree. 1/4 of our beautiful mountain ash came down in a huge wind storm. It was a pretty crazy morning chopping and hacking this tree to clear room for the vehicles. Luckily nothing got damage during this fall... except our moose head skull which was embedded into the base of the fallen tree. |
